The tragic case of my murdered graphics card.



So like any other night i load up my computer , sit back and relax watching youtube (funny cats) and keeping upto date with arabian forums.

An hour or 2 goes by and things start too get saucy, i decide bring out a bottle of wine before loading CS! 

I finish my first glass of wine and proceed too pour another one, this is when my life flashed before my eyes.

I misplace my bottle of wine at the edge of my desk and spill the entire bottle over my PC/tower. 

I PANIC bad! i run for the nearest towel in my bathroom and begin drying off my tower, thats when i noticed wine had leaked through into the internals.

I assess the damage and see that my graphics card is piss wet through with wine, so i turn off all electricity and remove my graphics card.

It didn't look good , i dismantled my graphics card and try too dry it off best i could but too no avail, my graphics card was dead and the circuit board had fried. 

I was angry and was ready too ring the police, but instead i took matters into my own hands, i smashed the bottle of wine and concealed the evidence in a bin bag.

I just want too take this moment too remember the up and downs, the highs the lows that my graphics card gave me over the years.

You'll be missed. RIP GTX1060 3gb , you'll forever be in my heart. 2017-2022

What i have to say is....GOOD LUCK!
The prices are crazy. 
i bought mine 4 months ago, an RTX3070ti, and believe me, wasnt cheap.

First thing you should do in this case is to cut electricity completely, that's mean pull off  power cable from the back of your case. I am not sure how bad is the damage if you can provide more images otherwise you can sell your GPU as its for something like $25-40. Some experts can use its parts at least cooler and fan. 

Anyway, get new card. actually its not that bad time to get new card. prices crashes this days lowest since like year and half. depends on your budget, for around $350 you could get RTX 3050 or RX 6600, personally i would go with RX 6600 since it have better performance.
